Basic Buck and Flatfoot Dancing

| Finding the beat, exploring it and developing your own dance talents are an important part of this basic buck and flatfoot dancing class, offered by the Georgia Heritage Center for the Arts (GHCA). Join Jennie Inglis for this fun introduction to basic old-style percussive step dancing. Flatfoot and buckdance, precursors to modern team clogging, are danced to string band music in both solo and social settings. This class focuses on moving the body and feet in time to the music. Jennie
has been dancing since age 5, and brings more than thirty years of
percussive dance Classes run September 13, 20, 27, October 4, 11, 18. All are welcome, but class size is limited. No experience is necessary.
